ALL NEWSRiver Pitches at the QH Memorial Sports Ground, Chiswick - Now in Use.
Commissioned by the facilities sports management team of Athis on behalf of The Quintin Hogg Trust the newly named River Pitches and supporting facilities received their first use in early September 2021.
The facilities include a new floodlit full-sized 3G rugby/football pitch, a supporting floodlit 3G rugby training/five-a-side football pitch with changing facilities, an access road and parking are due to be completed imminently.
The new facilities will support the UWSU’s drive to increase sports participation amongst the University’s students and increased engagement between the University and the local community through community sport. The University will have use of the facilities for approximately one third of the Centre’s weekly capacity, which will leave availability for additional major long-term users and ad-hoc bookings to add to those hirers who already use the facilities.
Athis are engaging with schools, clubs and all those interested in using the new facilities. Initial enquiries for use of the venue can be made through the Centre’s website www.qhmsgc.co.uk or by contacting the Athis team using the email address enquiries@qhmsgc.co.uk
