ALL NEWSAmbitious QHMF project has begun…
The first phase of the QHMF project to ensure that the historic Quintin Boat Club is here for keeps has begun. The first task is to ensure that the building is wind and watertight and the historic facade is restored. This will be followed, in due course, by further works to ensure that the building is bought up to date for its members, which include the University of Westminster Boat Club, and to make the building “fit for purpose” so that a varied programme of amateur and professional rowing can continue. The proposed future development will also make it possible for a wide variety of community and youth programmes to be run from the site in line with the aspirations of Quintin Hogg, the founder.
