Progress at the Chiswick River Pitches, Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Ground

20.01.2022

Whilst construction work has been continuing at the Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Ground, the main contractor, Claremont, and the Quintin Hogg Trust confirmed that use of the changing facilities, could go ahead, the first use of the River Pitches being in September 2021. The construction of the new entrance zone and car park is nearing completion, with a new pedestrian and Automatic Number Plate Recognition vehicle access in operation, branded wayfinding signage can be seen on arrival and throughout the Ground. New additions include electrical vehicle charge points , CCTV, spectator seating and a digital scoreboard which are all due to be installed in the near future. Resin bound footpaths, lighting and finishing touches will be completed prior to the formal handover of the project and will ensure that the Sports Ground presents a fantastic spectacle for both players and spectators alike. We look forward to the completion of the remaining construction work and the full opening in the coming weeks.
